About
Hiro Cho is a cultural theorist & music historian who sits around the awkward intervals between musicology, deconstruction, psychoanalysis, critical race theory, and queer theory. He is currently writing a cultural history of affect, capital, and technology in the Asian/American performances in genres ranging from classical piano to indie pop. Their other ongoing projects include, but are not limited to: desire, trans(cendental)ness, and broken technology in the ruins of hyperpop; ADHD and inattention as a mode of listening; voice, being, and postcoloniality; death in/of/as music.
