Pacifica Quartet - 2023 Don Michael Randel Ensemble-in-Residence: Autumn Visit

The Pacifica Quartet launched their residency at UChicago in October with a very busy and rewarding week that included visits to an El Sistema program on the West Side (the Chicago Arts and Music Project), performances and coachings with students at the UChicago Lab Schools, visits to Intro to Western Music classes, and a pop-up performance in the Sky Lobby at UChicago Medicine’s Center for Care and Discovery. Here are some photos of the Pacifica Quartet coaching students in the Chamber Music Program.

Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 3:00 PM - UChicago Presents performance of works by Gruenberg, Shostakovich, Dvořák

We hope to see you at one of these performances. If you cannot be there in person, be sure to tune into the Livestream on January 27!
