The University’s 40-member chamber orchestra takes the stage for a program opening with one of the world’s best-known overtures: Rossini’s Overture to The Barber of Seville, followed by Schubert’s majestic Symphony No. 1 in D. Major—written when the composer was at the precocious age of 16.

Free admission. No tickets required.

All event attendees aged 12+ who are attending public Music Department events must provide proof of vaccination. By exception, visitors who are unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons or due to a sincerely-held religious belief may provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event, or proof of a positive test 14-90 days prior to the event with affirmation that you are not experiencing any symptoms.

All attendees aged 2+ must wear a face-covering over the nose and mouth at all times.
