The New Music Ensemble presents a concert based on the idea of repetition in all its various guises—drones, motives, ostinati, and the echoing of musical ideas across works. Alongside pieces by graduate students Nathan Friedman and Jack Herscowitz, the ensemble will play classics by Igor Stravinsky and Morton Feldman, as well as works by contemporary American composers.
