The Middle East Music Ensemble is performing its first concert of the season in collaboration with the University of Chicago Women’s Ensemble and special guest artists. The two ensembles will perform a selection of Turkish music, both classical and folk, arranged by the Middle East Music Ensemble director Wanees Zarour with an emphasis on woodwind and brass instruments alongside the traditional Turkish instrumentation.
Free admission. No tickets required.
