In demand as a performer and a composer, Edgar Meyer has formed a role in the music world unlike any other. From his MacArthur Award and Avery Fisher Prize to his seven GRAMMY Awards, including two for his 2023 album, As We Speak, with Béla Fleck, Zakir Hussain, and Rakesh Chaurasia, Meyer’s musical legacy is unmatched. His musical collaborations are a who’s-who list of legends like Chris Thile, Joshua Bell, Yo-Yo Ma, and Emanuel Ax. Mr. Meyer’s unparalleled technique and musicianship in combination with his gift for composition have brought him to the fore, where he is appreciated by a vast, varied audience.
