About

Aside from Jonah's academic interests above, he has an 18-piece big band that has toured 4 times, including twice internationally. His group has 4 albums, the most recent of which ("Reclamation" by Thinkin' Big) is on Spotify. As a trumpet player, he has gotten the privilege to perform with John Tesh as part of a WGBH special, 2018 Latin Grammy winner Nella, and got the chance to open for Salt-N-Pepa. His next project is a Latin big band album, re-imagining genres like ranchera, bachata, and reggaetón for the big band setting.
