The Early Music Ensemble completes its year-long commemoration of the life of William Byrd with a performance of the complete Mass for Five Voices. The program will also include instrumental music for crumhorns, recorders, and viols by Byrd’s contemporaries, including excerpts from John Dowland’s cycle of laments, the Lachrimae, or “Seven Teares,” with guest lutenist Braedon Hofmann.
