Logan Center for the Arts—Café Logan
Join us for a vibrant evening of live reggae as we welcome Chicago’s own Rocket & Gizzae to the stage. With over 30 years of history, Rocket & Gizzae has been a cornerstone of the city’s Caribbean music scene, known for their infectious rhythms, rich harmonies, and powerful live performances.
Led by Dominican-born bassist and vocalist Brian “Rocket” Rock, the band blends classic roots reggae with original compositions shaped by decades of musical collaboration and cultural exchange. From their early days at the legendary Wild Hare to their ongoing presence across Chicago’s music venues, Rocket & Gizzae continues to bring people together through the spirit of reggae.
