Combined Graduate Program
Current RLL students whose interests lie at the intersection of more than one Romance language and literature may pursue a course of study in two RLL graduate programs (e.g., Italian and HLBS). Students must submit a petition (no more than one page) to the DGS by the end of spring quarter of their first year. The DGS, in consultation with the relevant Section Heads, will determine the intellectual soundness and feasibility of the student’s proposal, and will develop a plan for the fulfillment of requirements in both programs as follows:

Each year, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures graduates College students with Majors and Minors spanning the spectrum of Romance Languages; in the 25-26 Academic Year, this included 31 Majors and 32 Minors.
