Undergraduate Information
The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures undergraduate programs offer students the opportunity to develop advanced language skills while exploring the rich cultures, histories, and literary traditions of the Romance-speaking world. Through interdisciplinary study and close engagement with language and culture, students build strong foundations for global citizenship and a wide range of future careers.
Graduate Information
We offer PhD programs in three areas of study: French and Francophone Studies, Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Studies, and Italian Studies. Our students are supported by faculty members within and outside the department and we encourage students to take advantage of the University's many interdisciplinary programs.
