The results of these efforts are published books, influential conferences, new works of art, important research discoveries, and graduates whose critical thinking and scholarship has given UChicago its reputation for passionate teaching as well as innovative thinking. An infrastructure of appointment processes, financial policies and procedures, personnel practices, and technology makes these achievements possible.
