Bradley Spiers is a doctoral candidate in Music History and Theory at the University of Chicago. His research covers music’s intersection with film, machines, and the mind, a topic he historicizes in his upcoming dissertation, Galatea’s Song: Music and the Genesis of Artificial Life.
