Andrew Cashner awarded fellowship from ACLS

Andrew Cashner, a Music History and Theory doctoral candidate in the Music Department, was one of four scholars in the Division of the Humanities to receive an American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) research and teaching fellowship for the upcoming academic year. 

Cashner aims to use the fellowship to complete work on his dissertation, Faith, Hearing, and the Power of Music in Hispanic Villancicos, 1600-1700. You can read more about Cashner's dissertation on the website of the ACLS here
