Alum Tomás Gueglio Releases Second Album

Alum Tomás Gueglio (PhD in Composition, '16) released his second portrait album, Ciclo Lamarque - part 1: Songs and Madrigals, on September 4, 2026. The album is available on all streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music) and can be purchased on New Focus and Bandcamp.
The main source of inspiration for Ciclo Lamarque is a 1940s Argentine melodrama starring Libertad Lamarque, titled Cita en la frontera. Gueglio's album features works for the voice in various configurations composed between 2019 and 2023 and includes recordings by Quince, Dal Niente and Ekmeles.
