Ensembles and Programs

The select Rockefeller Chapel Choir of 30-40 voices performs at Sunday morning services in the magnificent Rockefeller Memorial Chapel, as well as a Choral Evensong (Vespers) every first Sunday evening of the month. The choir also presents an average of three additional concerts per season (one each quarter), including an annual Advent Vespers program, and joins in the end-of-season collaboration concert with the two other choirs and the University Symphony Orchestra. Membership includes several professional singers from the community as well as qualified U of C students.

Vocal auditions are held during Orientation Week at the beginning of autumn quarter: Tuesday, September 18 - Wednesday, September 26, 2007. (One audition will suffice for all three choral ensembles.) Visit the Auditions Page for more information.
