Vocal
Motet Choir

An intimate group of 30-40 accomplished singers, the Motet Choir was established by eminent University of Chicago musicologist Howard Mayer Brown. It is noted for its sensitive and stylistically correct performances of literature from the Renaisssance to the present. Frequently an a cappella choir, the group performs at least three concerts per year (one each quarter), sings at convocations and many other events, and joins in the end-of-season collaboration concert with the two other choirs and the University Symphony Orchestra.
