Director: James Kallembach
Rehearsals: Mondays 7:00 - 9:30 pm, Rockefeller Memorial Chapel

Focusing primarily on masterworks for orchestra and voices, the University Chorus is the largest choral ensemble on campus.  Its season includes an annual production of Handel's Messiah as well as presentations of masterworks such as Mozart's Mass In C Minor, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and Brahms’ German Requiem.  Among the 80-100 members are undergraduates, graduates, faculty and staff members, and many singers from the Hyde Park and University community, resulting in a wonderfully diverse group of musicians that offers its members an opportunity to sing with fellow students, co-workers, and neighbors.  The group presents three or four concerts per season, culminating in a festive year-end performance with the performance program’s combined choirs and the University Symphony Orchestra.

Vocal auditions are held during Orientation Week at the beginning of autumn quarter. Visit the auditions page for more information.
