Administrative Staff

Melody Harter, Project Assistant for Performance, coordinates a variety of important elements for the Department and for the Performance Program.  She is also responsible for publicity for several of the student performance ensembles and the Gilbert and Sullivan annual benefit production.

Melody holds a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, from which she graduated summa cum laude and received the Founder's Medal, studying with Enid Kathan and Amy Dorfman. Melody was staff accompanist and adjunct instructor at Blair's Pre-Collegiate program teaching music theory and piano. In the Chicago area, she taught piano at the Music Institute of the Lake Forest Symphony.
